experimental and tox pathologist (m/f)

About the Job 

You’ll lead and execute pathology projects and assess not only routine histopathology sections, but also offer expertise support to the group of Molecular Pathology and special techniques. You’ll also perform and manage state-of-the-art and newly developed approaches of experimental and specialty pathology such as for instance image analysis and morphometry as well as participate in establishing novel in situ biomarkers for our clients. 

Your skills and qualifications

 In addition to the necessary prerequisite of a medical background and certification in pathology, an experience of at least 3 years in toxicological or experimental pathology would be important. Fair to good level in scientific english is mandatory for high quality reporting. In addition to this, an experience in research (PhD, post docs, etc.) and pharma R&D would be a real plus.

We are currently looking for a full –time

MTA medical-laboratory assistant or BTA biological technical assistant (m/f)

Your responsibilities will include conducting histological preparation of tissues in the context of toxicology studies as well as implementation of special techniques. Basic histology procedures (e g trimming, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining and coverslipping) as well as conducting histological preparation of tissue are required. Key also is the accurate preparation of all data. Furthermore, all kinds of different tasks arising in a histology lab should be mastered by you. You should be able to differentiate normal from abnormal tissue and know correct anatomic terms. Experience with computer software programs is preferred.

We are looking forward to employ a trained and examined MTA or BTA, who is familiar with the English language and open for new experiences and further education. You should also have a certain knowledge in immunohistochemistry and regulatory affairs plus an interest in Histology. We look for a bright, motivated and flexible co-worker, who fits into our team. Effective communication and interaction in a professional manner with management, coworkers and sponsors is important to us.
